1.Giants

Let's start the list with the San Francisco Giants. With Northern California home to some of the best vineyards in the United States, it was a no-brainer that they would be on this list. In fact, their brand was voted best-tasting vine among all MLB teams with team wine brands.

2. Cubs

Speaking of California vineyards, The Chicago Cubs custom red blend is outsourced from the area as well. Most teams have tried to outsource to vineyards close to their local markets, but the Cubs went with quality or closeness with theirs.  

3. Yankees

The winningest franchise in MLB history was not going to be left on deck while other clubs expanded their branding. They have partnered with a vineyard in upstate New York to provide them with reds and a rose’.

4. Red Sox

Never one to be outdone by their rivals the Boston Red Sox are next on the list. Think they're getting their wines made from New York or California? Of course not! They stay local as well and have partnered with multiple in Boston and the state of Massachusetts. They've even gone a step further now and created player-specific wines for charities in the Boston area.

5. Mariners

The Mariners partnered with Maryhill Winery, one of the largest, most visited wineries in Washington. In June, it was named 2014 Winery of the Year at the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest and most respected international competition in the U.S. Both their white and red blends rank at the top of the MLB collection taste test list. 

6. Rangers

With eight Viticultural Areas, 220 wineries, and a winemaking history that dates back to the days of Spanish colonization, Texas is the fifth-largest wine producer in the US. Former Ranger Prince Fielder Jr has even been added to that list, starting his own winery back in 2010. 

7. Phillies

Following in the footsteps of other players (like Prince Fielder Jr) Joe Blanton, who won a World Series ring in 2008 after his first season with the Phillies and pitched for the team until 2012, purchased a vineyard on Howell Mountain in Napa Valley in 2014. In 2015, the Blantons moved to California and released their first wine — the 2014 Selah Cabernet Sauvignon — last November. The wine received a rating of 93 points out of 100 from wine critic Antonio Galloni, founder and chief executive of the wine publication Vinous and is available to buy through the vineyard's website for $110.
